Mizzou has a dynamic campus life and endless material for their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. However, WeChat is another world with a drastically different audience. Our social media specialists worked alongside Mizzou's marketing team to brainstorm topics and stories that truly interest Chinese students.
While schools commonly use student interviews for Facebook marketing content, Mizzou went a step further by using a well written story of a Chinese student. Because prospective students from China could relate to the interviewee, not only did Mizzou's post garner 1,200 views but highlighted a role model for future applicants.
