What We Did

  • WeChat Official Account -We managed content for their WeChat official account, including content translation and editing. We also posted this content on a regular schedule.

  • Localized Chinese Website - In addition to procuring an ICP license and establishing a .cn domain, we also completely designed their website and translated all English-language content they wanted us to include.

  • Weibo Official Account - We set up and registered an official account on their behalf. We also designed, translated, and posted content on their account every week.

  • SEO - We composed blog posts on Baidu Jingyan (a popular blog platform), Baidu Tieba (a major BBS), Douban, and Tianya (two popular online forums). We also published articles on mainstream media platforms such as Baidu Zhidao (the Chinese equivalent of Reddit), featuring two keywords chosen for mobile search optimization. Their website now appears on the first page when searching for 新泽西理工学院 in Chinese.

  • SEM - We managed a pay-per-click (PPC) advertisement campaign on 360, Sogou, and Baidu, which are all popular Chinese search engine platforms. We also managed a series of video PPC campaigns on Douyin (Chinese TikTok) and Toutiao, a popular news aggregator platform.

  • VR Tour - We shot 40 spots for 360° campus footage, 40 pop-up media, lead generation, and data collection.

New Jersey Institute of Technology would like to build up a closer community with Chinese students, parents, and alumni. The WeChat account is a good communication tool for them to update their audience on the latest school news. The VR tour is a powerful, engaging platform which helps prospective students get to know the school vividly as if they visited in person.
